Goodbye Guatemala, Hello America

It is me once again and this time I am happy and sad. Well it is July 20, 2008 and it is approximately 4:00 pm Guatemala time and I am and getting my things ready to go home tomorrow. It is so hard for me to say goodbye to my host family they were so welcoming to me and I started to begin to look at them as my real parents. They help me with my Spanish and they encourage me to speak it while I was in their home. The thing I noticed about Jose and Lucky valued their family and the little bit of possession they had. I think with use being in this house for two weeks have opened my eyes. There was no television and no typed of distraction for me besides my boys Sir Nafi lol and Shorty 40 Israel Lopez lol we had such a great time living with each other man they are my boys I loved them with all my heart no homo insider lmfao. Mr. Levy on the other hand I was impressed how he able to multi task and play his role as the authority and supervision and still let us have a good time thanks. I so glad to say that I came here and got what I needed to get done I have my certificate stating that I meet all the requirements needed for my one years worth on Spanish classes. I want to now finish this off by saying I want to give thanks to Jesus Christ all my family members and friends of my family who mad this trip happen for me I was the best experience of my life. The Visit To Tikal And Los Flores

This weekend we stayed at a pretty nice hotel with a pool. Thats were mostly everyone spent most of their time besides on the computers and some of us even read or study or spanish. I shared a two bedroom with nafi i had air conditioning and cable tv. We ate out at a few diffrent restaurants and visited a few diffrent local places. We went to tikal and climbed the diffrent mayan ruins. We saw a couple differnt animals like bugz monkeyz racoons and turkeys. This was one of my many experinces here in Guatemala that has change my life and opened my eyez to many diffrent thingz. For instance use as people somtime stake advantage and take thingz for granteed in all the wrong timez and situations just because we can. I have seen that the little people have the more the vale and cherish the things they do have such as family and life period.

What A Great Experience

Today myself along with a few of my fellow classmates visited one of the many volcanoes in Guatemala. The thing that was so unique about the whole ordeal is that its was actually active. As we arrived we were approached by a huge group of less fortunant child with soiled clothes and strange smells tryning to sell us everything under the son from rain coats to walking sticks flashlights and etc. When we got off the bus i felt so bad for the kidz that i ended up buying a walking stick and a rain coat. We met up with our tour guide and began to walk up the moutain it was hot and rainy and i slippen. Then these horse offerd use a ride up as far as we could go for sixty Q'z. My nafi brianna and jose and isreal took horses to the top and we ugot there before everyone one else. We began to look over the m outains peak and we suddenly sawpeople hiking way at the top the volcanoe. At fisrt looks i said to myself itz no way im doin that not at all. Then i siad to myself "you know sometimez you have to step outside your comfort zone and try some new thingz" indstead of bein so comfortable wit your boreing old life.
